Rugby Posts - Sleeve or Hinge Base

We are proud to manufacture our own rugby posts in a range of sizes from Junior (6m) to Stadium (16m). Aluminium is safer than steel or timber posts, and easy to install. Our Rugby Posts are used by stadiums, clubs, schools and councils throughout New Zealand. We now offer two different base styles - sleeve or hinge base! Scroll down for more information.

There are two base styles available: Sleeve Base or Hinge Base. Specific details of each style are below:

Sleeve Base:

• Ground sleeves are concreted into the ground
• Posts are then inserted into the ground sleeves
• To remove, Posts can be lifted out of sleeves and stored
• For safety, an end cap simply covers the sleeve base securely while not in use 
  
• Sleeve Base Post sizes available:
    - 6m Junior
    - 8m
    - 9.3m 
    - 12.3m

Hinge Base:

• Base is concreted into ground with base plate sitting just below ground level
• Base of Post has hinge plate that simply bolts onto the base plate unit
• Posts are then easily lifted upright by two people and bolted securely
• Easily take down Posts by unbolting bases and gently lowering posts down
• Posts can then be detached from base plates and stored
• Plates in ground can then be covered by turf, hidden until next season
