Raising facility standards across all match-day environments

As expectations around club accreditation and facility standards continue to evolve, Cashmere Technical Football Club has continued investing in equipment and infrastructure that improves the overall match-day experience.

Perennial player shelters have become an important part of that setup. Phil, the General Manager of Cashmere Technical Football Club, said, “Competition organisers are raising the standard as far as accreditation and what you have to have as a club on a match day. Player shelters are one of them.”

The club has found the portable design particularly valuable, allowing shelters to be moved into position for match days and cleared away when fields need maintenance. Being able to easily relocate the shelters provides greater flexibility across the club’s grounds and makes managing match-day setups much simpler.

The durability of the shelters has also stood out, with the club experiencing challenging weather conditions without any lasting issues. Phil noted, we had a couple of severe weather incidents which caused damage to our older dugouts on the second pitch, but there wasn’t any damage on our newer ones supplied by Perennial. They’ve proven to be really robust.”

Alongside larger facility upgrades, the club has also valued having a reliable local supplier for the equipment and supplies needed to keep things running day to day. From replacement items to match-day essentials, having quick access to support has made managing the club’s operations much easier.

Phil said, “being able to pick up the phone and get what we need, whether it’s corner flags, clips, pegs, cones or bibs, has been really helpful.”

For the club, these improvements extend beyond the equipment itself, contributing to a better environment for players, volunteers, and members, and enhancing the overall enjoyment of the game. Phil said that investing in and maintaining quality facilities plays an important role in shaping that experience, noting that “having quality equipment and well-maintained facilities makes a difference and adds to the enjoyment of the game.”

Having worked with Perennial across multiple areas of the club, Phil believes the combination of quality products and ongoing support makes them a trusted supplier for clubs looking to improve their facilities.
